I think hor, should not just include theses done by the Department of History. After include those liaoz, then it might be a good idea to scan the theses by other departments and take note of their theses which are of a historical nature/significance as well.

May I suggest that follow up action for this fine collecton of books be taken, by indicating whether some of these theses have been published. I see at least a few of the theses which have successfully been published. one of which include Syed Muhd Khairudin Aljunied's "Raffles’s Discourses of Religions amongst the Malays" which have been published as "Raffles and Religion". Thank you

May I suggest that the list be organised according to themes/topics as well, esp. for the 2000s when there are many different topics covered. For example, the 2000s could be organized under the rubrics of Area Studies into Singapore/Malaysia, SEA, East Asia, South Asia, etc. Of course there will be limitations in every classificatory system, such as where do you put transnational studies, such as British Imperialism and Overseas Chinese. But at least, I think the list would become more useful, especially when more theses and dissertations (from overseas universities) are added. Also, should historical research be limited to those submitted to the History Department? What about historical research in other fields such as, Sociology, Anthropology, Art and Architecture History?
